Glen M. Lee

Seattle City Finance Director and Chief Economist responsible for the City’s financial functions. Prior to this appointment by Seattle Mayor McGinn, Mr. Lee led the Fiscal and Economic Managment Team in forecasting City’s revenue, fiscal planning and assessing Washington state fiscal policies. Mr. Lee served on numerous City’s and State’s advisory boards, including the Economics Department of Seattle University. In addition, he served as a consultant to the Republic of Poland to implement a local government property tax system.Past President of the Seattle-Gdynia Sister City Association, he is a recipient of the prestigious Amicus Poloniae award, given to American citizens for extraordinary accomplishments in the development of Polish-American relations. Mr. Lee completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of California in Berkeley and graduate studies at California State University in Sacramento. See full bio
