Life Science Innovation Northwest 2012 Conference
July 11 and July 12, 2012, Washington State Convention Center
The Conference, organized by the Washington Biotechnology and Biomedical Association (WBBA), brings together nearly 1000 attendees from public and private companies, research institutions, venture capital firms, and the Global Health Community. In 2012, the year of the Seattle’s World Fair 50th Anniversary and The Next Fifty events, WBBA expects a record high international participation.
Washington State is a hub of a leading biotech and biomedical cluster in the U.S. The sector receives a top priority from Governor Chris Gregoire, Senator Patty Murray and Senator Maria Cantwell with support for programs like University of Washington Center for Commercialization (C4C), Life Science Discovery Fund, WINGS (Washington’s MedTech Angel Network), VIP (Venture Investment & Partnering) Forums and WBBA free commercialization consulting services.
WBBA and PACCPNW are reaching out to Polish companies to attend. Special matching sessions, presentations and booths are planned for international visitors.
Poland’s biotechnology/biomedical sector is an attractive partner for the Pacific Northwest. See more on Polish biotech/biomed www.paccpnw.com/bio
