Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, DC.

Doctor of Economics, Assistant Professor in the Department of Market and Marketing of the Warsaw School of Economics.

Previously, Deputy Consul General and Consul of the Republic of Poland to Chicago; Advisor and then Counsellor to the Prime Minister in the Departments of Foreign Affairs and Civil Service in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland; member of the Board of Governors in the European Institute of Public Administration in Maastricht; Polish Representative to the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Public Governance Committee in Paris.

Among other functions, member of the External Advisory Board for International Programs in Northeastern Illinois University at Chicago and (until 2009) member of the Chicago-Warsaw Sister Cities Committee.

Author of the book “International Marketing Strategies” (PWE, Warsaw), as well as other publications in the field of international business and public governance including research on the role of the state in supporting internationalization processes of companies, with special focus on small and mid-size (SME) companies’ engagement in foreign markets.

Married to Ewa and has two daughters: Roxana and Nina.
