International Mission from Poland, Germany and Czech Republic

International Mission from Poland, Germany and Czech Republic received enthusiastically by Washington State partners.

On September 20, 2013, Polish American Chamber of Commerce Pacific Northwest hosted a reception for a delegation of city mayors from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic, visiting Washington State at the invitation of Camas Sister City Association

The overall goal of the trip was exploratory in the areas of business, cultural and academic exchanges. The extensive itinerary included visits to Microsoft, Boeing, Washington State Coast Guard and the Polish Festival in Portland.  PACCPNW was pleased to support the mission and help facilitate international cooperation.

At the reception honoring the delegation, PACCPNW members and local community leaders welcomed special guests to Seattle, engaged in networking and shared experiences of international exchange.  In a short official ceremony, mayors of towns Krapkowice, Zabierzow, Morawica in Poland; Wissen, Germany and Lipova Lazne from Czech Republic, introduced their regions, highlighted their achievements and potential for future cooperation.
