Year in Review – 2012

As we close 2012, we celebrate many accomplishments and reflect on past challenges. We thank our dedicated board members and advisors for guiding our success. The past year was filled with many activities promoting business exchange between Polish and American organizations and facilitating cooperation within local, national and international networks.

A few highlights that stand out include series of conferences from promoting trade opportunities with Poland with guest speaker, Dr. Henryka Bochniarz in January, through Aviation conference in March attended by a delegation from Poland, to first Boeing Dreamliner delivery to LOT Polish Airlines in November.  Our participation in inaugural business workshops in Chicago and meeting with Poland’s President in New York City, were a testimony to the contribution into a broader Polish American dialog and cooperation within international commerce.

Throughout the year, our members built numerous relationships and collaboration networks, including the Embassy of Poland Trade and Investment Section, Invest in Poland (PAIiIZ), Invest in Gdansk and Invest in Pomerania.  Our organization became a member of Association of Washington Business, World Trade Center Seattle, Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle, and participated in activities lead by Washington State Department of Commerce as well as local economic development authorities.

As we plan for the remainder of 2013 and pursue a multi-year strategic plan, we will focus on delivering a high value to our members and mission driven results in facilitating cooperation and exchange between Polish and American businesses for economic success.  We wish all our members and partners a prosperous year and successful business endeavors in the future.
