Pomerania/Gdansk delegation pitch investors at the WTC

NETWORKING RECEPTION and PRESENTATIONS ON BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN POMERANIA AND GDANSK, POLAND

The Polish American Chamber of Commerce Pacific Northwest hosted a networking reception featuring presentations on business opportunities in Pomerania and Gdansk, Poland. The event was held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, 5:30 am – 8:30 pm, at the World Trade Center in Seattle.

The evening’s program included brief presentations of the Pomerania region and city of Gdansk, an overview of strategic investment opportunities and introductions of IT companies participating in the mission,  followed by business networking and dinner. The mission was led by the Governor of the Pomerania Province Mieczyslaw Struk and the Mayor of Gdansk Pawel Adamowicz with CEO’s/Directors of the Gdansk Economic Agency InvestGda, Invest in Pomerania, Gdansk Entrepreneurship Foundation; Gdansk Incubator STARTER; and Pomeranian Economic Zone, Ltd. The goal of the mission was to promote Gdansk and the Pomeranian region, and to attract investments  opportunities for the region.

The second goal of the mission was to promote local companies representing the high technology sector. Participating companies included: Goyello; Datera SA; Optinav SA; Uxpin Ltd; Fido Intelligence Ltd; Around; FancyFon; Playsoft Ltd; Solwit SA; Speednet Ltd; and Sii Ltd.

PACCPNW is pleased that Seattle is among the top US markets forging closer relationship with partners in Poland. We  are delighted that the Gdansk/Pomerania trade delegations made a stop in Seattle, along with Silicon Valley and Chicago this week  to explore new potential for future cooperation and business success.
